A PLUS-SIZED fashionista has revealed she felt like a “stuffed sausage” after picking up a huge Primark haul.
Rachel Spicer, from Falkirk, regularly shares her shopping hauls and outfit choices with her 2.3 million followers on TikTok (@rachelspicer_)
In a recent video, the 25-year-old tried on some of Primark’s newest releases for spring – filling five bags with her purchases.
But not everything was a hit for the size 18 influencer.
After trying on the the viral seamless bike shorts and crop top set in a bright blue, Rachel exclaimed: “I feel naked. I feel exposed. I feel like a stuffed sausage.”
She added: “I saw everyone raving about these on TikTok.
“It’s meant for the skinnier people I think.
“I’m going to keep, but would never wear together. I’ll keep the bottoms for like baggy tops and baggy jumpers. The top for baggy bottoms, floaty skirts or jeans.”
A lilac blazer and skort blazer was also a flop as the bottoms wouldn’t zip up.
But the Scots beauty did pick up some colourful gems for spring, including a mint green blazer and shorts co-ord for £34 and a pastel patterned midi skirt.
She gushed: “I ran to Primark after seeing this skirt on Abby’s story. Green, pink. I love it.
“Oh, it’s getting me ready for spring, summer vibes. The colourful, the bright, the bold. I like.
“And this [co-ord] is a vibe. I love a co-ord. I’m tall so I look naked from the back, but I promise I’m not.
“I’m shook at the quality of it, thought it would very thin for Primark but I love.”
Rachel’s video has racked up more than 250,000 views in less than a day, and social media users are urging her to give the seamless set another chance.
One said: “I think the blue set looks amazing girl. It’s made for all sizes. I’m size 16/18 and I have the green one!.”
A second wrote: “Babes I love the blue top with the co-ord.”
Meanwhile, a third added: “I don’t mind the two-piece.”
But the star of the haul was the mint green co-ord as a fan exclaimed: “That co-ord is unbelievable.”
Another agreed: “That green suit is everything. Pastels are your colour, so pretty.”
In another video, Rachel tried on some other pieces she picked up, including an £18 khaki midi dress which she joked made her look like a “Victorian child”.
The 25-year-old also bought a short smock dress in a bright green shade, costing just £12.
The savvy shopper completed her haul with a cropped green and white checked, high-neck knitted jumper, on sale for £3.
She paired this with white drawcord parachute trousers, available online and in-store for £20.
The TikTokker joked: “I wanted to try parachute pants but I feel like a painter.
“What do we think? I don’t know, do I look silly?”
