POUNDLAND is known as a supersavers paradise, but this TikTok star set out to discover whether its makeup range was up to scratch.
Makeup specialist Hannah Wills tried on a full face of Poundland makeup for only around £7 and was “shocked” by the results.
Hannah set out to “see if they’re worth the money” and filmed her experiences for her successful TikTok channel @blendedbyhan.
The beauty whizz starts with different shades of liquid concealer and told viewers that it “feels really light underneath the eye”.
She said it’ s similar to the Hnb concealer, which is £16 at Boots.
“I really like that concealer,” she muses as she moves onto on their iconic £1 powder which, she says, has been “sold out for ages”.

Hannah seems to be genuinely surprised by the quality of these budget-friendly makeup ranges. “I don’t mind how this looks…it doesn’t feel dry for a powder,” she added.
One of the shades is similar to the Maybelline pressed powder, she added.
The quest continues onto the £1 bronzer and she tells viewers its a “beautiful shade”. Then amazed, she adds: “Its £1!”.
Hannah loves the gloss shades and visibly gasps at the results. “I’m really happy with that,” she added.
Decidedly, she ends the video with “yes, yes, yes…. get yourself to Poundland”.
Her followers have flocked to the comment section amazed at her results.
“I want the lip gloss,” said one.
Another writes: “More for me to try! Thank you.”
Other users certainly agreed with Hannah’s judgments. One wrote: “I’ve been using the bronzer for months and its honestly brilliant”.
“The brow jel is amazing I’ve been using it for years,” another added.
The savvy star isn’t alone in testing out cheaper alternatives on their followers behalf.
Debbie known as @BeautyGlowGirl online recently shared her honest thoughts on the Aldi’s new affordable skincare in a TikTok video.
Although, unlike Hannah’s affair with Poundland’s range, Debbie gave the Aldi makeup dupes a thumbs down.
