BGT viewers were quick to spot that Tia also had over 40,000 followers on TikTok and was getting thousands of likes per video.

Another added: “Acts are clearly scouted through the likes of tiktok ,or asked on by producers. Stop leading us to believe they all genuinely audition.”

While someone else commented on her TikTok account and it’s account, writing: “Tia’s tiktok account is really underrated. Really good & her vocal range is amazing. Can literally sing any song! And she’s so young! Well done.”

BGT Spokesperson said: “For anyone to suggest that Tia’s audition is a fix is completely false and hugely damaging to a 15-year-old child who has come on stage and proven she has undeniable talent.”

During the show Tia’s mum Claire explained to Simon, Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden and Bruno Tonioli that she had set up the audition so Tia could get her moment to shine.

Breaking down in tears on stage, the 33-year-old told the judges: “She thinks it’s me who’s auditioning.

“She’s got me through some very hard times in my life and I feel like I owe her, so I’m giving my audition up for my daughter.

“This is my way of saying she’s fabulous because she deserves it and she’s an incredible person.”
